By order of the Head of State, presidential scholarships were assigned to 74 young scientists, including 8 doctors of science before the age of 45, 35 candidates of science before the age of 35 and 31 to a young scientist without a degree under the age of 30.

Lajkov Yan, junior researcher of the state scientific institution “United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus”, appointed a scholarship of the President of the Republic of Belarus to talented young scientists for contributing to the determination on the basis of methods of computer simulation of low molecular weight organic compounds that prevent the penetration of the human immunodeficiency virus into the cell-tars, as well as suppressing the activity of enzymes (kinases).medicines for the treatment of HIV infection and chronic myeloid leukemia; the results are published in domestic scientific publications, their practical significance is confirmed by the certificate of use in research activities of the state scientific institution “United Institute of Informatics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus”
