Achievements Exhibition "My Belarus"

Since December 19, the large-scale achievements
exhibition "My Belarus", has been open at the Minsk International Exhibition Center. The exhibition showcases the country’s key achievements in science, economy, technology, culture, and the social sphere. The exhibition will run until February 23. As part of the collective exposition of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus presents its developments.
The exposition of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is located within the thematic block "Science and Innovations" and highlights the contribution of academic science to the development of advanced technologies and the strengthening of the country’s technological sovereignty. The developments presented by the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus demonstrate practical applications of information technologies and artificial intelligence in space research, agriculture, and digital decision-support systems, including:
— a software system for forecasting crop diseases , designed for scientifically grounded prediction of disease occurrence and decision support for crop protection at the field, regional, or national level;
— an interactive prototype of a crop rotation management software system , intended for both professional agronomists and private users and serving as a practical example of agricultural digitalization.
— a micromodule for real-time recognition, selection, and compression of video data for small spacecraft, outperforming existing analogues in terms of weight, dimensions, power consumption, and data processing speed;
— selected results of the Belarusian part of the Union State programs "Monitoring-SG" and "Complex-SG", aimed at the development of small-size Earth remote sensing systems, onboard scientific equipment, and an advanced component base for space systems;
