During a working visit to Lida, Sergey Kasanin, Deputy Director General for Science, and Sergey Kruglikov, Chief Researcher of the Department of Scientific and Methodological Support for Digital Development, held a series of meetings with potential partners to establish cooperation in promising areas.

One of the key events of the visit was the participation of representatives of the Unite Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in a joint meeting of the Lida District Employers' Council and the Lida District Executive Committee. The event was organized with the assistance of the Grodno Regional Union of Employers and was held at Lidagazstroy.

During the meeting, participants discussed current issues related to the implementation and practical application of artificial intelligence technologies. Representatives of the institute presented the institute's main areas of activity, focusing on the opportunities for scientific and methodological support for digital projects and support for organizations on their digitalization journey.

It is worth noting that the Unite Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is developing successfully with regional institutions. In particular, following participation in the Smorgon District Employers' Council in October 2025, contact was established with the Ostrovetskaya Central 5th District Clinical Hospital. The institute's experts expressed confidence in continued fruitful collaboration and the development of cooperation with medical institutions to implement modern information technology and artificial intelligence.
