А dissertation defense council meeting was held at the Joint Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus chaired by Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Head of the Laboratory of Mathematical Cybernetics of the Joint Institute for Informatics and Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Alexander Vasilyevich Tuzikov.. The agenda included the discussion and defense of Tatyana Yuryevna Kim's dissertation, "Technology for Creating Digital Twins of Mobile Robots to Optimize Control System Elements," by Junior Research Fellow Tatyana Kim of the Robotic Systems Laboratory.
The dissertation was submitted for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the specialty "Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Methods, and Software Systems." Her supervisor was Alexander Nedzved, Doctor of Technical Sciences, who noted the high relevance and significance of the work for the development of modern mobile robot control technologies.
During the defense, Tatyana Yuryevna
presented the results of her research, the goal of which is to develop a technology for controlling the motion of mobile robots in a dynamic environment using algorithms for intelligently analyzing the robot's interactions with the environment to make optimal control decisions. The work generated keen interest among the council members, who noted the originality of the approach and the practical value of the proposed solutions.
Following a secret vote, the council unanimously supported the decision to award Tatyana Yuryevna the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences. Congratulations on your successful defense and wish her continued success in her scientific endeavors!
