Belarus's scientific landscape continues to strengthen through new partnerships. The Unite Institute for Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus signed a
memorandum of cooperation with the Vitebsk State Technological University. This event opens up broad prospects for both parties in the fields of science, education, and the implementation of advanced technologies.
Our institute and the university already have experience collaborating to foster synergy between academic research and applied education. Previously, the Unite Institute for Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus held a conference on comprehensive information security at the Vitebsk State Technological University. This new document will take research to a qualitatively new level. The agreement was signed by Sergey Kasanin, Deputy Director General for Research, and Valery Zhiznevsky, First Vice-Rector of Vitebsk State Technological University.
"The effectiveness of this cooperation depends on us. By combining the scientific potential of our university and the computing power, as well as the experience of our colleagues from the institute, we will be able to address the challenges facing domestic industry and the IT sector today," emphasized a university representative.
Sergey Kasanin, in turn, noted the importance of sharing experiences and invited the VSTU scientific community to participate in key industry events. He announced the 5th International IT-Akademgrad Forum "Artificial Intelligence in Belarus", which will not only showcase the results of AI development in the country, but also discuss in detail all areas of joint work and identify future goals and objectives.
The partnership is expected to facilitate the development of joint educational programs, fundamental and applied research, and the implementation of scientific developments for the benefit of the Belarusian economy.
