The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus has announced the start of accepting applications for the 2027 scientific grant competition. Undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics are eligible to participate.
Applications can be submitted until September 18, 2026. A list of required documents can be found at this link. Applicants must not only develop a scientific hypothesis but also prepare a cost estimate for the research project in advance, justifying the costs by expense item, justifying the relevance of the research, and preparing all necessary supporting documentation in accordance with the Ministry's requirements.
Grants are provided to doctoral, graduate, and postgraduate students to support the completion of dissertation or diploma research, including travel within the CIS countries, research at third-party organizations, work in libraries and archives, and testing for a period of one calendar year. Postgraduate students (including those pursuing the academic qualification of "Researcher") apply for a dissertation grant based on the experimental work planned in their individual plans (literature review and description of theoretical foundations are not included in the grant). The doctoral grant is awarded to complete previously initiated research and publish the results.
