On September 5 at 12:30 PM, a meeting with a cosmonaut will take place at the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus as part of the "Science Festival 2026"!

In the lecture hall of the specialized "COSMOS" zone, a discussion will take place with Oleg Artemyev, Hero of the Russian Federation and cosmonaut, and Alexey Maratovich Belotserkovsky, Head of the Intelligent Information Systems Department of the Joint Institute for Informatics and Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The participants will discuss:

• life and work in orbit around the ISS;
• modern space technologies;
• the role of intelligent systems in space exploration;
• the future of manned spaceflight.

And, of course, festival guests will be able to ask the cosmonaut questions and learn more about space firsthand.

At the "World of Maps, Satellites, and Technologies!" The Geoinformation Systems enterprise will present its activities: a satellite drone simulator, space tag, satellite darts, the "Satellite Vortex" game, and a themed photo zone.

The program also includes a meeting with Vladimir Surdin, one of the most renowned popularizers of astronomy. On September 5 at 6:00 PM, he will give a lecture and talk about the mysteries of planetary systems and complex questions of cosmology.
