Sergei Kruglikov, General Director of the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, who participated in a meeting on the development of science and the activities of the National Academy of Sciences convened by President Alexander Lukashenko, shared his opinion on the importance of results-oriented work and the creation of truly in-demand innovations.

"The future begins with science. During the Soviet era, the defense sector, of course, was superior to everything else. Now, take precision agriculture, for example—it's a completely different industry, but it also plays a role in the country's national security in the food sector. We must develop this industry, and the more successfully we do so, the faster we will progress. National health, for example, is also security. We can cover all aspects in this way. We must actively develop and implement intelligent technologies in all areas," he noted.
