A project combining poetry, music and high technology has appeared on YouTube: Boris Lobanov, chief researcher at the speech recognition and synthesis laboratory and Doctor of Technical Sciences, has created and maintains the channel ‘Silver Age Poetry in Songs,’ which features song versions of poems by famous Russian and Belarusian poets, created with the help of artificial intelligence. Lobanov's scientific work relates to the theory and methods of multilingual and multivoice speech synthesis based on text, computer cloning of personal voice and diction, robust speech recognition, and analysis and synthesis of multilingual speech intonation.
