Belarusian scientists develop innovation schemes for medicine: new developments in AI
29.01.2026
On the Belarus 1 TV channel, a new episode of the
"Economic Environment" program was dedicated to the modern initiatives and achievements of Belarusian scientists that are already finding application in various areas of the country, from medicine to agriculture.
One striking example is a new development in artificial intelligence for medicine. Scientists have trained a neural network to analyze diagnostic images—X-rays, CT scans, and histological images (microscopic biopsy samples)—without risking the disclosure of patients' personal data. Crucially, it operates exclusively on closed sources, ensuring absolute confidentiality. This technology has already been successfully tested and demonstrates high recognition accuracy, making it a promising tool for clinical research and diagnostics.
