The results of the State Research Project "Digital and Space Technologies, Human, Social, and State Security" for 2021-2025 were accepted

At the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Interdepartmental Commission, approved by Order No. 41 of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus dated January 22, 2026, successfully accepted the results of the State Scientific Research Program (SPNI) "Digital and Space Technologies, Human, Social, and State Security" for 2021-2025 and its subprograms. During the meeting, the results of the five-year work were summarized, the achievements were discussed, and further steps in scientific development were outlined.

The state clients for the program are key ministries and agencies, including the National Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Communications and Informatization, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the State Forensic Examination Committee. The program's lead implementing organizations include a number of leading Belarusian scientific institutions and universities, including the Joint Institute for Informatics and Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Belarusian State University, the Research Institute of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, the University of Civil Defense of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, Giprosvyaz JSC, and the Scientific and Practical Center of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

The discussion of the program's implementation results began with a presentation by Alexander Tuzikov, Head of the Laboratory of Mathematical Cybernetics, who presented the results of work on subprograms covering such important areas as digital technologies and space informatics, military security and defense capability, and the security of individuals, society, and the state. His presentation emphasized the importance of integrating new technologies to improve security and efficiency in various fields.

Following the presentation, a lively discussion of the five-year results took place, during which each representative of the state customer expressed their opinions on the achievements and prospects. Participants noted that the research and development conducted opens new horizons for further scientific and practical applications.

Expressing their commitment to continue work within the program for the next five years, the meeting participants also discussed plans for the new five-year program, which is already under development. This demonstrates the scientific community's active commitment to developing and implementing innovative solutions that enhance security and improve the quality of life for citizens.
