Registration for the Aerospace Open Innovation Competition ( AOIC 2026) has opened, the Republican Technology Transfer Center announced. Startups and small and medium-sized enterprises from around the world are invited to participate for the opportunity to attract funding for joint development and pilot projects addressing pressing industry challenges.

The competition encompasses six key challenges, including digital transformation, next-generation productivity, and sustainable future technologies. This means that not only aerospace companies but also companies from other sectors can offer their solutions and ideas to advance innovation in the aerospace industry.

Competition winners will have access to collaboration with leading industry players, including Airbus, AIR Lab, Ariane Group, Bombardier, and Rolls-Royce. This collaboration will provide participants with mentoring and co-development opportunities, as well as access to prototyping and financial support of up to S$400,000.

Registration for the competition is open until April 17, 2026, at 11:59 PM (GMT). Interested companies can also participate in a virtual briefing on February 26 to learn more about the challenges directly from participating companies.
