The Belarusian Republican Foundation for Basic Research, together with the Russian Science Foundation, launched the joint competition "BRFFR-RSF M-2027" to support research groups led by young scientists to conduct fundamental and exploratory scientific research.

The competition is held in the following areas:

• artificial intelligence, mathematical models, algorithms, and computer technologies, technologies for the intellectualization of society;
• social and humanitarian knowledge in the development of man and society;
• pharmaceutical chemistry, medical technology;
• molecular genetics, biotechnology;
• precision agriculture: digital technologies and their support;
• new transport and communication technologies;
• new methods, materials, and devices for energy conversion, storage, and dissipation;
• new components for micro-, nano-, magneto-, and optoelectronics;
• nanotechnology and additive manufacturing;
• laser physics, optical, and quantum technologies;
• Nuclear and radiation safety, nuclear physics, particle physics, and accelerator technologies.

Applications will be accepted until May 29, 2026, through the BRFFR automated information system. Paper applications must be submitted no later than June 5, 2026, according to the postmark on the mailing.
