Today, a group of 28 students from the Industrial and Pedagogical College of the Republican Institute of Vocational Education branch visited the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus as part of their internship program, "Computer and Graphic Modeling." Introductions to the institute's work areas, advanced technologies, and methods in the field of modeling were an important part of the educational process.

The students began their visit with a tour of the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, where they learned about the institute's history and achievements. The group was then shown modern modeling methods. Mikhail Vladimirovich Zhukovets, a representative of the Laboratory of High-Performance Systems and Modeling Technologies, introduced them to these methods. The students were able to see firsthand how computing technologies are used to solve complex problems.

The students were particularly interested in meeting with Sergei Petrovich Trofimov, PhD in Engineering. He shared his experience and knowledge in furniture design and described how the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus's developments are applied in furniture production.

These meetings help students learn more about modern developments and the practical capabilities of hardware and software systems, and also create opportunities for further professional development.
