UIIP of the NSA of Belarus recognized the outstanding contribution of Romaald Grigyants.

Romuald Grigyants was awarded the Certificate of Honor and the "60th Anniversary of UIIP" Jubilee Medal at the Joint Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Romaald has dedicated over 50 years to science, earning a reputation as a highly qualified specialist. He holds a PhD in engineering, is an associate professor, and heads the Laboratory of Information Support for Scientific Research at the JIIP of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. In his speech, Sergey  Kasanin, Deputy Director General for Research, emphasized the scientist's many years of dedication to the development of Russian science and expressed gratitude for his dedication.

From March 1997 to May 2007, Romuald Grigyants served as Deputy Director General for Research. In 2010, he was awarded the certificate of Senior Researcher and the certificate of Associate Professor in the specialty "Informatics and Computer Engineering." For many years, he headed the Laboratory for Information Support of Scientific Research. Despite his decision to step down as laboratory head, Romuald Bronislavovich will continue to work there as its chief research specialist.

At the ceremony, Deputy Director General for Research, Sergey Kasanin, noted that the scientist's contribution to the development of the institute and the republic is invaluable: "Thank you so much for your work and contribution! Thanks to you and your efforts, such a strong team has been formed," he said. "Thank you for your years of service to our country and the institute!"

The scientist's anniversary medal was presented by Deputy Director General for Research and Innovation, Andrey Govin.
