The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, in accordance with the agreements reached between the Belarusian and Chinese parties, have announced a competition for scientific and technical projects for 2027–2029.

The competition covers the following key areas:

• digital economy and artificial intelligence;
• innovative technologies in industry;
• biological and medical technologies;
• innovative technologies in the agro-industrial complex and food industry.

The project implementation period is up to two years. If necessary, the duration may be extended by agreement with the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, which will allow for the technological specifics of the work to be taken into account.
To participate in the competition, a number of requirements must be met, including completing the established forms and submitting them electronically with a cover letter from the state customer of the project via the Expertise Information System.
The set of documents must include:

• an application for participation in the competitive selection;
• a feasibility study of the project. Cost estimate for work carried out using the republican budget.
• Project implementation plan and schedule.
• Written commitments of the state customer regarding the practical use of research results.
• Commitments to participate in shared financing for projects aimed at developing new technologies.
• A copy of the departmental scientific and technical expert review report.

Projects for the competition will be accepted until June 15, 2026.
