A meeting with the management of the Republican Unitary Enterprise " Information and Publishing Center for Taxes and Duties" was held at the UIIP of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The meeting included Director Alexey Smilgin and Head of the Digital Solutions Department Tatyana  Vladykina. The enterprise is the "digitalization office" of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of Belarus.

The discussion was moderated by Andrey Govin, Deputy Director General for Research and Innovation. Also participating in the meeting from the Joint Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus were:

• Alexey Belotserkovsky, Head of the Laboratory of the Intelligent Information Systems Department;
• Andrey Bondolovsky, Head of the Speech Recognition and Synthesis Laboratory;
• Nadezhda Borodich, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Exhibition Activities;
• Eduard Snezhko, Head of the Biomedical Image Analysis Laboratory.
• Igor Tom, Head of the Bioinformatics Laboratory;
• Olga Krasko, Leading Researcher, Bioinformatics Laboratory;
• Natalia Mukha, Researcher, ONMOCR.

The discussion focused on strategic partnerships in high technology. The Institute is ready to share its expertise in AI, big data analysis, and information security to modernize the country's tax administration services.

Representatives of the Information and Publishing Center emphasized that, for them, partnership with the scientific community guarantees the technological relevance of the implemented tools and the training of highly qualified personnel for the specific tasks of the agency. "We need a result that will be practical in the long term—to create an automated platform that will solve a domain-specific government task." Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to begin detailed development of a cooperation agreement, laying the foundation for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.
