The "First Step into Science" conference inspires Belarusian schoolchildren.

On the eve of Belarusian Science Day, the national student conference "First Step into Science" was held in Minsk. It brought together young researchers and future scientists from across the country studying general secondary, vocational, and specialized secondary education programs (grades 10–11).
The goal of the conference was to engage young people in scientific research, develop their presentation skills, and introduce them to the achievements of Belarusian science. During the event, the presentations of the "Mathematics" and "Computer Science and Digital Technologies" sections took place in the conference hall of the Joint Institute of Informatics Problems, demonstrating the high level of preparation of the participants and their interest in science.
Sergei Vladimirovich Kruglikov, Director General of the Joint Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, noted the importance of the work of young researchers: "Young people are our future. You will develop and advance the country. All your reports, I am confident, are aimed at a good cause, at the development of our nation, and at the advancement of global science as a whole."
