The collection of scientific achievements of the Joint Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has been expanded with an award from the "Top 10 Results of Scientists' Activities in Fundamental and Applied Research by the End of 2025" competition.
Representatives of the Biomedical Image Analysis Laboratory received a commemorative statuette from Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus:
- Vasily Kovalev, Leading Researcher, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor;
- Eduard Snezhko, Head of the Laboratory, PhD in Engineering;
- Dmitry Karpenko, Junior Research Fellow Intern.
The award was given for the development of an innovative federated learning method and generative AI model technology. This technology ensures efficient and secure training of neural networks under conditions of restricted exchange of confidential medical data (using X-ray, computed tomography, and histological images as an example).
We congratulate our colleagues on this well-deserved recognition and wish them continued scientific success!
