BSUIR scientists visited the UIIP of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

The Unite Institute of Computer Science Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus
hosted the guests — teachers and young scientists of the Faculty of Engineering and Economics of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with advanced scientific developments, career guidance and integration of education with the real sector of the economy.
The meeting was held by Sergey Kasanin, Deputy Director General for Scientific Work, and Andrey Govin, Deputy Director General for Scientific and Innovative Work. They talked about the key areas of the IPR's activities. They also shared their research:
At the end of the tour, the guests visited the Geoinformation Systems enterprise, where they learned about the work of Belarusian satellites, got acquainted with the processing of Earth remote sensing data, and also saw a 9-meter "dish" — a receiving complex for working with space information.
This is not the first meeting with representatives of Belarusian universities that took place within the walls of the UIIP of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The Institute continues to actively interact with educational institutions, contributing to the development of science and the training of qualified personnel.

- Alexey Belotserkovsky, Head of the Department of Intelligent Information Systems;
- Andrey Bondolovsky, Head of the Speech Recognition and Synthesis Laboratory);
- Vasily Kovalev, a leading researcher at the Laboratory of Biomedical Image Analysis.
