Andrei M. Bandalouski
Andrei M. Bandalouski was born in 1985 in Slonim.
In 2003 he graduated from a secondary school #8 in Slonim.
In 2003-2008 he studied at the Faculty of Economics of Belarusian State University (BSU) at the specialty “Economics” and the qualification “Economist-analyst”.
In 2008-2011 he studied in a graduate school at the Faculty of Economics of BSU in the specialty “Mathematical and Instrumental Methods of Economy”.
In 2012 he was doing an internship in a hotel business in the USA.
Since 2013 Andrei M. Bandalouski has been working in scientific positions at the Laboratory of Mathematical cybernetics of The United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (UIIP NASB).
In 2015 he defended his PhD thesis in economic informatics at the University of Siegen (University of Siegen, Germany). Title of the thesis is “Revenue Management Models for Hotel Business”.
In 2016 he confirmed his scientific degree at The Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus and was awarded a degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.
In 2017-2018 he participated in a building and management of a startup company, which aimed to develop innovative software for hotels.
Since December 2023 he is the Deputy General Director for scientific and innovative work at the UIIP NASB.
The spheres of the research interest of Andrei M. Bandalouski are revenue management, resource management, dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, optimization and graph theory.
Since 2013, Andrei has published 13 scientific works, including 7 articles in scientific journals, including the Journal of the Operational Research Society (impact factor in 2023 - 3.246), Journal of Heuristics (impact-factor in 2022 – 2.7), and 6 reports at scientific international conferences.
